After his studies at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, French
sports journalist, linguist and television host Nelson Monfort began
his career as a sports journalist at figure skating events.

Frenchman of American heritage, he is fluent in English in addition to
his native French and can also speak Spanish, Italian and German which
helped him in his career as he was able to interview various
international athletes.
Appreciative and extremely knowledgable about
classical music, he has presented radio programs, written for the
French press and made numerous introductions before festival concerts
in previous years on a range of composers and musical genres.
Preferring the beauty and purity of the mountains to the splendor of
large luminous cities, Nelson Monfort is often to be seen in the Alps.
