After studying the violin, Nicolas Ziélinski began to study voice at the Valenciennes conservatoire and he was unanimously awarded a gold medal with honors.
His first stage appearances came through the theater and opera and he joined the École Normale Supérieure de Musique de Paris in the class of Daniel Ottevaere.
A study grant from Bestegui and support from the Zaleski foundation allowed him to continue his studies at the opera studio of the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Brussels where he worked with José Van Dam among other fine artists.
Laureat of competitions including Verviers, Levallois and Vivonne, he has taken part in a number of masterclasses with notably June Anderson, José Van Dam, Helmut Deutsch, Jocelyn Dienst and Yvon Repérant where he has been able to develop his understanding of different repertoire and the artistic demands of the stage.
