Lisette’s most frequently performed roles are Violetta in La traviata, the title of Lucia di Lammermoor, Gilda in Rigoletto, and Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail. She’s sung Violetta at the Met, Teatro Real, Royal Opera House, Gran Theatre del Liceu, Teatro dell’opera di Roma, Arena di Verona, and more. Lucia at La Scala, Teatro Real, Royal Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, Opernhaus Zürich, and the Salzburger Festspiele. As Gilda in Rigoletto, she has appeared at the Met, Royal Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Opera National de Paris, and many more. As Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, she’s performed at Bayerische Staatsoper, Wiener Staatsoper, and Opéra National de Paris.
In the 2022/2023 season, Lisette debuted and triumphed in an Olivier Award winning production of Händel’s Alcina at the Royal Opera House, Gilda at the MET, Amalia in I Masnadieri at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Ophélie in Hamlet at the Opéra National de Paris, Lucia di Lammermoor at La Scala, and made her role debut as Juliette in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at the Savonlinna Opera Festival.
More career highlights include - Covent Garden as Gilda in a new production of RIGOLETTO to open their season, Händel’s oratorio THEODORA, culminating in a highly acclaimed recording, new productions of I MASNADIERI, I CAPULETI E I MONTECCHI, and LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR at Teatro alla Scala, an exciting role debut as Elvira in I PURITANI at the Teatro di San Carlo in Napoli, Fiorilla in Rossini’s IL TURCO IN ITALIA in a new production by Laurent Pelly at the Teatro Real, Queen Marguerite de Valois in Meyerbeer’s LES HUGUENOTS at the Opera National de Paris, and MANON at the Met Opera.
Lisette also performs many solo concerts and recitals each year, and is a beloved interpreter of art song. She’s recorded 2 live recital discs: Within/Without and Aux filles du désert. Her concert programs have delighted audiences in Valencia, Madrid, Seville, Vienna, Gstaad, Prague, Tokyo, Rome, Parma, Pesaro, New York City, Napa, Tucson, New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, and elsewhere.
